“The wedding festivities were held over several days at the North Shore of Lake Superior, one of the couple’s favorite areas. Golfing, visiting a winery and a brewery and spending time with friends and family as they put the final touches on the ceremony and reception were among special activities, but what really stands out are the quiet moments the couple spent alone—at the first look where they read some of their vows to each other and stolen moments when they took wedding photos on the beach.”

"If you ask us, vintage inspired weddings shine the most when they’re blended with a bit of modern elements. Krista Esterling PhotographyAnne Victoria Photography, and Saffron & Grey put together this styled editorial to show just how easy it is to mix 1920s style with modern ideas, using on-trend floral design and color palettes mixed with retro finger waves and vintage fashion for a look that’s oh-so-pretty."

"It takes a lot of love to fill a whole forest, but between Katie and Kevin’s woodland vows to the sense of community throughout their day, the trees around Juliane James Place were positively resonating with wedding bliss. Katie and Kevin’s reception fit right in with the woodsy venue with precious creature prints by Small Adventure serving as table numbers and potted fern centerpieces. We can’t help but smile looking at these gorgeous photos by Matt Lien, who captured the essence of Katie and Kevin’s relationship in every one."

"Bailee Dickson (26 and a registered nurse) and Jordan Kopp's (27 and a student) natural, elegant wedding was surrounded by a deep rich purple color palette, ranunculus, succulent, and artichoke bouquets, and tree slice chargers, candles, and homegrown white pumpkins centerpieces. Bailee wore a form fitting gown with a high lace neckline, with the bridesmaids in similar dresses, which complemented the groomsmen's classic black suits. The ceremony was held outdoors, overlooking Lake Superior, adding some rustic charm to their event. At the end of the night everyone enjoyed three different pie selections from a local bakery, as well as caramel apples from the couple's hometown favorite candy shop, Widman's Candy." Photos By: Anne Victoria Photography

"The WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards® recognizes the top five percent of local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. "Bailee and Jordan's Two Harbors wedding is rustic-chic at its best. With the gorgeous North Shore as a backdrop it's hard to go wrong, but this couple incorporated the rustic details of the woods perfectly with classic decor for a beautifully balanced event. I love the use of white pumpkins and mercury glass in the table centerpieces. Moss, succulents and pinecones bring even more of the outdoors in, without being overbearing. The bride's stunning lace gown, (echoed in her pale lavender bridemaids dresses) was a lovely choice for the location, and the florals provide the perfect amount of dimension with deep green, burgundy and navy tones." Beach Neutrals Styled Shoot "This lovely, tranquil styled shoot comes to us from Anne Victoria Photography based in Duluth, Minnesota!"

"This styled shoot fused warm and cool tones to produce a beautiful neutral palette. Though this shoot had neutral colors, it is an alternative style for the traditional engagement shoots. The bouquet gave it a contrast that ironically put everything into place. It is non traditional but very artsy and quirky. In this generation more and more couples go bolder and go for the unusual to make things more personal and 'them'. The photographer, people behind this shoot, and from us here at BeachBride hope that this inspiration shoot could give you an idea for your special day. Best wishes and Congratulations!"

"Captured exquisitely by photographer Erin Johnson, this quintessentially cozy shoot took place in the beautiful white wake of a snowstorm at the Lake Superior Barn in Maple, Wisconsin. Situated on the south shore of the largest of the Great Lakes, the 4,250-square-foot barn, made up of a patchwork of reclaimed wood from across the United States, might look rustic on the outside, but it’s chock-full of modern amenities on the inside—a game room with heated cement floors, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, and a contemporary wood-burning fireplace, to name a few."

A beautiful styled shoot fall barn wedding. It can’t get any more beautiful than this.

“The idea was a Marie Antoinette-hosted picnic meets Mad Hatter tea party,” Using a romantic palette and elements from Alice in Wonderland, like clocks, rabbits, vintage keys and mismatched china, they easily achieved the magical whimsy they were after."

"Duluth-based florists Saffron & Grey (www.saffronandgrey.com) designed the floral for the shoot.  They have been designing for same-sex weddings non-stop since marriage equality passed.  Their no-minimum policy is great for couples looking for amazing, personalized design for smaller weddings."

"Today’s bride describes her wedding day vision as “Marie Antoinette meets Mad Hatter tea party.” It doesn’t get much better than that, folks. Jeff Loves Jessica, Bash Collective, and Saffron & Grey all teamed up to create a truly romantic Minnesota wedding we’re crazy about."

"With the advent of Pinterest, wedding styles now run the gamut.  From boho chic to rustic whimsy, the internet is not in wanting for highly detailed wedding decor.  But if you ask me, sometimes less really is more.  And there's nothing more stunning than a wedding with a beautiful setting and a minimalistic color palette to match.  That is why I am loving today's Duluth, Minnesota nuptials."

"There used to be such a “thing” about black at weddings.  But, oh how elegant the bridesmaids looks in black along the crisp white of the tent and tabletops.  Très chic!  The beauty and simplicity of candles on the long tables in the tents, with an evergreen runner, is so fashionable.  After all, the green, which Heather used to create emphasis on her cake and the tables was 2013 Pantone’s color of the year."

"Simplicity and vintage don't often go hand-in-hand.  A simplistic wedding is usually associated with modern minimalism, while a vintage wedding typically pairs old with opulence.  So what would a simplistic vintage wedding look like, you ask? Look no further than Kelli and Will's Duluth, Minnesota nuptials.  With delicate antique details on a crisp neutral palette, their fete is the prime example of pulling off these seemingly dichotomous themes."

"… this styled shoot is all sorts of dark & lovely amazingness. Swoon!"

"I love the inherent contrast between the cool water tones and the warm colors on the sand and sun. Especially this time of year, the beautiful beach in the fall. There is something wonderful about that. I wanted to play with the cool/warm contrast of the setting and get the wardrobe involved in the contrast with tans and grays, golds and silvers."
