It's Tulip Season!
Fun Fact: The word tulip is derived from a Persian word called delband, which means turban. It is generally believed that it was called this due to the turban-shaped nature of the flower. However, this might have been a translation error as it was fashionable to wear tulips on turbans at the time.
Each week, a fresh batch of these lovely perennials fly in from Holland - and boy, are their arms tired *ba-dum-tshh*.
Tulips are wonderfully easy to care for - no need to cut the stems, just ensure that any foliage below the water line is removed. Then, simply change the water as needed and voila - a long-lasting symbol of spring to be enjoyed everyday (at least until tulip season ends)!
Saffron and Grey's tulip season lasts through the end of April. Call us at 218-728-1455 to order a bright bunch or cheerful arrangement today!
