January 2019 Fashion Friday: Desi + Mat

The first Fashion Friday of 2019 is here! This elopement styled shoot took place up the Northshore of Lake Superior at Gooseberry Falls State Park with the one & only Kellie Rae of Kellie Rae Studio.

S&G’s very own Desiree and her love, Mat, were the perfect couple for this shoot and their own style made an appearance as well {{please note Desi’s henna and her love of mandalas}}.

The bouquet consisting of peonies, garden roses, spray roses, raspberry foliage, tweedia, blule godetia, echinacea, and local dahlias accenting Desiree’s henna and boho style 2-piece dress was all in all a stellar combination.

June 2017 Fashion Friday

Ryan + Britt's styled engagement shoot was something only dreams are made of. Starting out on the shores of Lake Superior in Northern Wisconsin, they were the epitome of effortless + beachy. With a table set for two, seaglass tones, + burnt orange chairs coordinating with her floral belt, what could be better. Her belt consisting of thistle + locally-grown dahlias in hues of orange, was trendy, yet unexpected. 

Brittany, owns Simply Gypsy Events + she is our most favorite wedding planner in all the land! She wins at every event + occasion she partakes in - can you say type-A bohemian?! That is a rare freaking combination! We especially enjoyed working with her on the strawberry fields shoot that she conceptualized to absolute perfection! [linked below]

May 2016 Wedding Wednesday

This month's Wedding Wednesday features the gorgeous Sarah & Phil. We were so thrilled to work with this wonderful couple and were happy to contribute to their special day. The ceremony took place at Mont Du Lac & reception at Clyde Iron Works - All captured by the talented Brian Bossany. With pastel tones mixed with pops of deep reds, the bouquets & boutonnieres consisted of seeded eucalyptus, garden roses, dahlia, astilbe, hydrangea, & stock. We cannot forget to mention how adorable the Bent Paddle cake was (we are seriously obsessed)! This wedding is perfect for all your wedding inspiration - with gorgeous designs, location, photos, and couple. What more do you need?
